Sean Bowen — Founder & Principal
Full Stack I.T. Services was founded by Sean Bowen — a software engineer turned engineering leader with over 20 years of experience building and modernizing technology systems for regulated financial institutions.
Sean began his career as a Trainee Programmer at one of Jamaica's leading commercial banks in 2002, progressing over 15 years through every level of software delivery — from developer to team lead to Manager of Web & Mobile Applications, where he was responsible for the institution's entire customer-facing digital portfolio. During that time, he led the initiative that made the institution the first financial organization in the English-speaking Caribbean to achieve PCI DSS certification.
In 2018, Sean founded Full Stack I.T. Services with a clear philosophy: the best technical outcomes happen when senior engineering leadership is embedded within the team, not managing from a distance. That philosophy has guided every engagement since — including a 7-year principal consultancy at a leading Caribbean financial institution, during which his team delivered some of the region's most significant digital banking initiatives, including a commercialized fraud monitoring platform now licensed across the Caribbean.
Today, Sean leads Full Stack I.T. Services full-time — bringing that same depth of hands-on financial services engineering to clients who need senior technical leadership embedded within their teams.
